1. What can I do with the Hiring Companies feature? |
|
The main objective of the Hiring Companies feature is to provide listings of companies that can be good targets for a job search. Job seekers may not be aware of all the opportunities they have in their area and our listings will help them find the right companies. Furthermore, the filtering capabilities by industry and geography will help candidates find companies that match their interests. Lastly, a direct link to a company’s career page will make them save time and effort. |

2. What companies are eligible to be included in the JobTiz database? |
|
The JobTiz team is currently focusing its efforts to include only companies headquartered in California. If you would like us to expand this scope, please fill out the feedback form and describe your interest ([Contact Us]). |

3. How can I request that a new company get listed in JobTiz? |
|
Please use the [Contact Us] form with the subject "New Company Addition Request" to request the addition of a new company. If the company is eligible for inclusion in the JobTiz database (HQ in California, website available, career section on website, etc.), it will be added within 48 hours. |

4. Is there a cost for a company to be listed in JobTiz? |
|
No, being listed in JobTiz is free. However, if you would like your company to be listed among the Favorites (listed first on the top of the Hiring Companies pages), a small fee will apply. |

5. Why are some companies flagged with a  or  icon? |
|
Companies that are flagged with a or icon are our Favorite companies. The icon is only available for non-profits and allows you to reach the donation page for these companies. Companies flagged as Favorites are either companies that have been identified as being in a growth mode and in the process of mass hiring, or companies that have paid to be listed first. |

6. How often is the JobTiz database updated? |
|
The JobTiz database is updated on demand when changes are reported through the feedback forms (directly by companies or by users). Also, new companies are added every other day and most company information is checked quarterly. |

7. What companies have been recently added? |
|
Please visit the [What's New] Section to review the counts of recently added companies and click on the count links to list the underlying companies. |

8. How can I filter companies by geography and/or industry? |
|
You can filter the companies by geography, industry, etc., by using the Filter Companies option located at the top of the page. Simply select your criteria and click on the Filter button. |

9. How can I sort companies by name, industry, etc.? |
|
To sort companies, please click on the hyperlink to the column you want to sort. The hyperlink will disappear and the  and  icons will show you whether you are sorting by ascending order or descending order. |

|
By clicking on the icon, you will open a new window in which the company's website appears. |

|
By clicking on the , you will open the Social Networking/Contact page. This page will allow you to search for contacts that are linked to your company of interest by using existing Social Networking Software. |

The currency of the Market Cap for public companies is billions of US Dollars. |

|
By clicking on , you will reach the xml file to use for the JobTiz RSS feed. The JobTiz RSS feed will provide you with the latest additions to the JobTiz database. By clicking on a headline from your RSS reader, you will reach the job section of the related company website when available. |

The main objective of the Recruiting Firm feature is to provide listings of firms that can help you during your job search. The filtering capabilities by industry and geography will help candidates find recruiting firms that match their needs. Lastly, a direct link to the job openings will help them identify the expertise of these firms. |

The main objective of the Social Networking feature is to provide a simple interface with the main social networking software. With this feature, once you have identified a company of interest, you can easily browse the social networking software to find insiders who may refer you for a job. |

Social Network Software are online applications that connect people through networks of friends or contacts for multiple purposes such as dating, making new friends, getting employment referrals, finding new business partners, etc.

Yes, we are planning to add as many social networking software applications as the market deems necessary. |

|
No, the Social Networking feature does not work when popup blockers are enabled because we are automatically opening new windows linking to the social networking vendors. Please allow all popup windows from www.jobtiz.com. For your information, we are committed to not display any advertisement or spyware in our popup windows. |

6. Are you going to save my Social Networking Software logins and passwords? |
|
Logins and passwords needed to sign into each Social Networking Software application will not be read, stored or re-used at any point in time. They are temporarily used to log in each vendor's application and are forgotten once your browser's window closes or when you load a new page from your browser. |
